Liability waiver & assumption of risk

Last updated: September 6, 2026

This waiver applies to your use of the Sculpt Studio membership video library — every class you stream and perform on your own, wherever you choose to move. It's separate from, and in addition to, the site's general Terms & Conditions, because physical participation carries a different kind of risk than simply using the website.

1. Assumption of risk

Pilates and other physical movement involve an inherent risk of injury, including but not limited to muscle strain, joint injury, and falls. Because classes are streamed rather than supervised in person, there is no instructor present to observe your form, correct your technique, or monitor your health while you move. By accessing and participating in any class through the video library, you voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. Health disclosure

You're responsible for assessing your own physical readiness before starting any class, for consulting a physician before participating if you have any injury, medical condition, pregnancy, or other health concern, and for modifying or stopping any movement that doesn't feel right for your body. You're also responsible for the space you move in — make sure it's clear, stable, and appropriate for physical activity.

3. Release of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Sculpt Studio and its instructors and employees from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in classes through the video library — except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

4. Acknowledgment

By checking the waiver box when you create your account or start your membership, you confirm that you've read and agree to this waiver, and that you're voluntarily choosing to participate in online classes at your own risk.
